Blackmoot

Build your House. Shape the realm. Leave a name worth keeping.

Private Alpha

See how it plays

You leave.
It carries on.

Put your people to work, then go and do something else. When you come back, some of it will have gone well and some of it won't — and it'll usually be clear why. There's nothing to collect and no chores waiting for you.

How it plays.

01

Set the work

Decide what gets done. Whatever you commit to costs people, time or supplies that could have gone elsewhere.

02

Grow the Hearth

Turn a struggling Hearthhold into a seat of power, one skill and one building at a time.

03

Return to what happened

Come back to see what your people managed, what ran short, and what they decided without you.

04

Begin another history

Close the Chronicle and start again with a very different House.

From Hearth
to Keep.

Skills, buildings and earned automation change what your House can take on. The further you get, the bigger the decisions — not the longer the to-do list.

Greatness is your call.

Go after the Crown if you fancy it. Or stay independent, corner the realm's trade, put someone else on the throne, or head into the hills after the Ash Wyrm.

The Chronicle keeps track of what your House became — not just who ended up wearing the Crown.

The realm
does not wait.

You play one of eight Houses. The other seven follow exactly the same rules you do — building, trading, falling on hard times and getting back up. Take too long and they may settle the Blackmoot without you.

A House's culture shapes its story. It never decides its morals, its personality or its right to rule.

It all happened to someone.

People

Somebody made that call.

Rulers, heirs and notable people remember what happened and why. A shortage stops being a red number when you know who caused it, and who had to deal with it.

Progression

New options, not new chores.

Skills and earned automation open up what your House can do, without turning every visit into a list of boxes to tick.

The boring promises.

  • No required account
  • No adverts or premium currency
  • No paid skips or energy timers
  • No punishment for having something else to do

Being built
in private.

Blackmoot is in private Alpha. We're building and testing it a piece at a time, and we'd rather show you finished things than promises. There's no public build, store page or release date yet.
